Legacy Stories

Ordinary people, united by tragedy, respond with humanitarian and precedent-setting acts. Some locals took in total strangers, helped survivors and victim’s families from across the world, alike. Others washed and ironed the victims clothing or helped with transportation, childcare, including funeral and flower arrangements. Some sought to bring the terrorists to justice, while others targeted bringing meaningful change to aviation security, terror victims' restitution, flyers' rights. From this tragedy emerged stories of loss, sacrifice, hope, resilience, generosity, and advocacy.&nbsp;
